Large-scale renovation of the art deco U.S. Courthouse included designing new judges’ chambers, courtrooms and affiliated spaces, a library, and other general offices. Restoration work included refurbishing and replicating original windows and light fixtures, upgrading elevators, providing a new roof, and waterproofing the building exterior.
